International Conference on Latest Developments in the Water & Wastewater Sector
The two-day conference aims to create a platform for knowledge sharing for all stakeholders in the water & wastewater sector. It covers a variety of topics, technologies and practices, thereby giving a comprehensive overview on the subject. The objective of the program is to allow water professionals from industry, government and trade to learn and understand some of the latest developments and opportunities in this sector. The conference also brings
together a wonderful array of experts from all over the world, many speakers who share their expertise and experience for the first time ever in India. From that point-of-view, it should be an enriching and memorable experience for all delegates–to learn, to network and to share.
The EverythingAboutWater Panel Discussion brings together leaders from some of the top water companies in India to discuss issues faced by the Indian Water Industry. The objective is to get them to share their perspective, outlook and future plans with the attendees at the discussion. By bringing their concerns to the fore, a foundation can be laid for evolving an industry-wide strategy for tackling these issues. For the audience, this is a great opportunity to listen to the industry leaders and learn from them.
Interactive Training Workshop on Water Reuse & Recycle
Water reuse and recycle presents the most economic and sustainable solution to this problem. Regardless of the water source-rainwater, stormwater, municipal sewage or manufacturing/processing wastewater, technologies are available to collect, treat and reuse this water for virtually any application, including potable uses. This training workshop will investigate these sources of water, address the quality characteristics of each, and detail the treatment technologies appropriate for the range of treated water uses. Testing requirements will be described and system designs discussed in detail. This workshop is intended for engineers charged with reclaiming water and directing his plant towards “Zero Liquid Discharge.” The participants would acquire knowledge on how to relate the quality differences in source water to treatment technology requirements, and the effect of these technologies on the final water quality. The workshop structure would be highly interactive with lots of question-answer and discussion time.
Conference on Advancements in Seawater Desalination Technologies
With leading technology providers present at the conference, the sessions would provide special emphasis on optimum system designing and operation of seawater desalination plants. Covering both thermal and membrane-based technologies, latest concerns like energy recovery, boron reduction, brine disposal and pre-treatment challenges will be covered. First of its kind in South India, the programme would be of great use to consulting engineers, design and project managers and contracting companies in this field .
A full-day training workshop will be organized on Non-Chemical Disinfection Technologies: Ozonation and UV in association with the Indian Ozone Association. The Conference will focus on designing, selection, operation, maintenance issues and latest developments in Ozonation. It will bring various subject experts who will share their knowledge and experience to a focused audience. The participants will acquire knowledge on the latest developments, learn the best practices being followed by their peers and gain a better understanding on how they can build better ozonation systems at lower costs and higher efficiencies.
