Noida is located in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh state. Noida is about 20-kilometre southeast of New Delhi. Noida is a major hub for multinational firms. Many companies have their Indian branch offices in Noida, because of the Special Economic Zone, the suburban atmosphere in Noida and its proximity to Delhi. Noida also has the head office of the Software Technology Park. Noida is a major hub of industry. Noida has quickly emerged as a hub for automobile ancillary units, with companies like Escorts, Honda-SIEL and New Holland Tractors (JV of FIAT with Ford), opening up shop in the city. Major manufacturers and others like Fiserv, ALSTOM, ISGEC, LG, Samsung, and music company T-series also have their corporate offices in the city.

Greater Noida is located in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). It is under the purview of the National Capital Region (NCR) of India. It is located about 40-kilometre south-east of New Delhi and about 20-kilometre south-east of Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia. Greater Noida is a fast growing region, on a trajectory to be one of the largest industrial hubs of India. Greater Noida is home to a number of Indian and foreign multi-national companies. A number of projects are under development in Greater Noida. This includes a Formula One circuit for the forthcoming Indian Grand Prix.
