Poor Visitor Quality to Exhibition hampers exhibitors’ marketing of corporate image & product lines

Visitor turnout steadily increasing in the Annual EverythingAboutWater Exhibition & Conference on Water & Wastewater Management

A trade show is where exhibitors show the latest equipment, backed by technology experts who can assist visitors in making an informed choice about what to buy and from whom. A Trade show participation extends beyond the few days one is exhibiting; it is a marketing tool that must be integrated into one’s overall business strategy and one that must be done properly in order to obtain results. Although trade shows still remain the best platform to exhibit products, most exhibitors feel that the cost of exhibiting at a trade show is rising faster than inflation. Trade shows are intended to initiate sales but if does not attract leads and follow-up, there is no reason to engage in trade shows. Leads are directly proportional to the quality of visitors attending the show and in the absence of a strong industry backing and database support it's most unlikely that one can expect visitors that really matter to exhibitors. Hence visitor turnout marks the success of any trade show.

The EverythingAboutWater International Exhibition & Conference on Water & Wastewater Management is held at a gap of 3 years between 3 cities of India namely Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai. It has been recognized as an important calendar event for key stakeholders such as the government, technocrats, advisors, policy makers, manufacturers & system integrators, consultants, builders, contractors, architects, engineering organizations, distributors & dealers. The event has grown from strength to strength every year by drawing a steady influx of visitors every year starting from 3300 in its 2005 show and growing to 14,720 in its 2009 show at Delhi. Everyone connected to the water industry in India look forward to participating in the event every year either as an exhibitor, conference speaker, delegate or simply as a visitor. The event draws interested visitors primarily due to a number of visitor attraction initiatives namely the Dr.H2O pavilion, a discussion area showcasing leading experts and independent consultants where any one can get free professional advice. Another popular among visitors is the EA Water Forum, where visitors get to listen to high quality technical and product presentations by industry experts. And not to mention the One-2-ones meetings between visitors and exhibitors facilitated by the organizers. These pre-fix appointments with exhibitors enable visitors to have detailed discussions with them.
After the success of the 2007 event in Chennai, the 7th EverythingAboutWater Expo comes back to Chennai after a gap of 3 years. The event is being held at the Chennai Trade Centre from Jan 7-9, 2010. The event includes a two-day internationally reputed conference on latest developments in the Water & Wastewater sector, a conference on non-chemical disinfection technologies and training workshops on seawater desalination and water reuse & recycle.
