SHARAKAT honored the winners across nine categories at the fourth edition of the SHARAKAT Awards 2026. Held at the Hilton Riyadh under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors, the ceremony celebrated partners in success and outstanding projects that have contributed to advancing Saudi Arabia’s water sector and enhancing its sustainability.
In the Financial Close Excellence Award categories, Juranah ISWR won the Fastest Financial Close award, while Jubail-Buraidah IWTP received the Best Financing Model award.
In project delivery, Shuaibah 3 Conversion IWP received the Project Delivery Excellence for Private Sector Water Desalination award, while Madinah 3 ISTP won the Project Delivery Excellence for the Private Sector Water Treatment Projects award.
In operational excellence, Rabigh 3 IWP received the Operational Excellence for the Private Sector Water Desalination award, while Ras Al-Khair Production System won the Operational Excellence for the Public Sector Water Desalination award. Tabuk 2 ISTP received the Operational Excellence for Private Sector Water Treatment award.
Taif ISTP won the Innovation and Sustainability Award, while Shuqaiq 3 IWP received the Social and Community Impact award.
The SHARAKAT Awards serve as a national platform for recognizing outstanding achievements and pioneering projects, highlighting the impact of effective public-private partnerships, encouraging competition based on the highest standards, and strengthening partnerships and investment in the water sector.
The fourth edition continued the awards’ journey, which began in 2022, reinforcing a culture of excellence and leadership, supporting innovation, and enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of water projects in support of Saudi Vision 2030
