DRINKING WATER, AIR LINK & POWER – ANY QUANTITY ANYWHERE IN INDIA

In the last edition of EA (September 2020), the author mentioned that our country India has seawater on three sides. We can never have drinking water problems. The coastal line of India is 7516.6 Kms long. This is the 15th Largest Coastal line out of 198 countries. There are so many countries that don’t have any coastal line. Railway traces in India is 1,23,542 Kms, which is 4th in the world. India has 7,349 railway stations, reaching remote areas of the country. It is very unfortunate that even having such a large coastal line we have not utilized the resources. In this article, the author presents an idea of how we can deliver three important resources i.e., Drinking Water, Air Link & Power using two resources which are Coastal Line & Railway Traces. Author
will also cover how with the use of water and power we can grow vegetables, cold storage, salt production, fishing & generate employment for local people.
