Indonesia-based system integrator Jaya Teknik Indonesia has selected NX Filtration to supply ultrafiltration (UF) modules for the large-scale 5 MLD Ancol Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant in Jakarta. The UF solution will reinforce the plant’s pre-treatment performance, supporting long-term membrane protection and stable freshwater production for the wider Ancol tourism district.
Located within Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, one of Indonesia’s most visited coastal destinations, the SWRO plant plays a crucial role in providing freshwater for hotels, attractions, infrastructure, and supporting facilities. The UF modules serve as upgraded pre-treatment step to supports the long-term performance of the SWRO system and contribute to ensuring a stable and secure water supply for Ancol’s tourism and leisure operations. Sustaining reliable membrane performance is key to the broader resilience of Indonesia’s tourism sector, particularly in environments where seawater conditions can fluctuate seasonally.
