Program Schedule
Day 1 – 20 March 2026 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (IST)
Introduction to wastewater treatment plants and key design fundamentals, covering preliminary treatment processes such as screening, degritting, equalization, and neutralization. Participants will learn coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and the design of clarifiers and chemical dosing systems. The session will also include secondary treatment processes such as Activated Sludge, Extended Aeration, SAFF, MBBR, SBR, MBR, nitrification and denitrification, anaerobic treatment processes, basic design calculations, followed by group exercises and Q&A.

Day 2 – 21 March 2026 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (IST)
The second day focuses on tertiary treatment processes including filtration, disinfection, and chemical treatment, along with sludge treatment systems such as dewatering, digesters, and biogas generation. Participants will also gain insights into operation and maintenance of ETP/STP, common operational challenges in biological and chemical systems, basics of RO, UF, evaporators, ZLD systems, and comprehensive troubleshooting across primary, secondary, tertiary, and sludge treatment processes, followed by interactive discussions and Q&A.
