Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
● Achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory.
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government, EPC, industrial, and commercial sectors.
● Support bids, and negotiations under the guidance of Regional Head.
Client & Partner Engagement
● Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end customers.
● Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem resolution.
● Support local channel partners and distributors to generate business.
Territory Planning & Execution
● Develop and execute territory-level sales plans aligned with regional strategy.
● Maintain updated sales pipelines and provide accurate forecasting.
● Track competitors’ activities and market trends in the territory.
Reporting & Coordination
● Provide regular updates to the Regional Head on sales performance, pipeline, and challenges.
● Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, finance, projects) for smooth order execution.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and documentation standards.
Key Performance Indicators:
Revenue & Sales Metrics
● Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
● Growth in new client acquisition in the territory.
● Order book conversion rates.
Client & Market Metrics
● Number of new accounts added per quarter.
● Retention and repeat business from territory clients.
● Customer satisfaction scores and resolution time for escalations.
Operational Metrics
● Timeliness of pipeline reporting and forecasting accuracy.
● Active participation in bids, and proposals.
● Execution of territory-level marketing/partner activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Environmental preferred).
● MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience:
● 5–7 years of experience in sales or business development in B2B industrial sectors (infrastructure, water management, fire safety, or allied industries).
● Experience in handling EPC/industrial sales is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
● Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
● Ability to manage local markets and work independently under guidance.
● Good communication and presentation skills.
● Process-oriented and detail-focused with strong follow-up discipline.
●Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
