The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) will now take over the development of the proposed Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for Gurugram’s industrial sectors 34, 35 and parts of sector 37. The handover from the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) was finalised in November 2025 during a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary’s office, with the objective of fast tracking execution.
