Kirloskar Brothers Limited Unveils  Submersible Wastewater Pump, iNSx and  Intelligent Monitoring Solution, KirloSmartTM  NANO at PLUMBEX India 2026, Reinforcing  its Commitment to Intelligent Water  Infrastructure

Bengaluru, April 2026

Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) has launched two transformative products, the  Submersible Wastewater Pump, iNSx and the compact IoT-based remote monitoring  solution, KirloSmart™ Nano, at PLUMBEX India 2026.

The Submersible Wastewater Pump, iNSx, is a robust, precision-engineered drainage  pump designed to tackle the most demanding wastewater applications with ease. With  an advanced hydraulic design, the iNSx is purpose-built for the municipal, industrial,  commercial and residential sectors, for efficient handling of sewage water, stormwater,  sludge, effluents, greywater and process water. The pump also delivers effective  dewatering capabilities in construction sites and flood-prone areas, making it a truly  versatile solution for modern infrastructure challenges. The iNSx features a smart  submersible design that requires reduced submergence, enhancing adaptability and  efficiency in challenging conditions. It is powered by a high-efficiency IE3 motor and  equipped with thermistor-based thermal protection to prevent overheating. The  moisture sensor effectively protects the electrical components from damage due to  water ingress. These attributes minimise unplanned downtime and reduce total  lifecycle costs.

KBL continues to strengthen its range of digitally enabled solutions, including IoT  monitoring control systems and variable speed drives, to deliver real-time intelligence  across fluid management systems. Blending compactness with smart functionality,  KirloSmartTM NANO is designed to measure and transmit real-time field parameters to  KBL’s web-based portal and cloud analytics platform, enabling comprehensive remote  monitoring, predictive diagnostics and proactive maintenance alerts for pumps and  systems. Smart pumps, which integrate advanced sensors, controls and IoT  capabilities, are increasingly being deployed across various packaged pumping  systems, such as HYPN, HVAC and firefighting. KirloSmartTM NANO positions KBL  squarely at the heart of this. KBL’s latest innovations showcase its integrated approach to water infrastructure,  combining strong engineering with smart digital technologies to deliver reliable,  sustainable and cost‑effective solutions. As India advances toward universal water  security and smarter urban systems, KBL is emerging as the preferred technology  partner for the nation’s critical fluid‑management needs.
