Djb to Open Asia’s Largest Sewage Treatment Plant at Okhla on September 30

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) will inaugurate Asia’s largest sewage treatment plant (STP) at Okhla on September 30, marking the completion of a project first launched in 2019. Built under the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the facility has a capacity of 124 million gallons per day (MGD) and will benefit nearly 40 lakh residents across south, central, and old Delhi.
