New panel to observe nature of industrial discharge, says Haryana chief secretary

A joint committee of officers from various departments and the state pollution control board will be set up to observe the nature of effluents discharged from various industrial setups, said Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal. NEW DELHI: Delhi will soon get India’s Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Okhla, which will be able to treat 564 million liters per day (MLD) of sewage and wastewater.
